My work often references a cyberworld and thinks about what it means to paint virtual realities. Signifying ideas and objects that are out of reach in our physical world. I'm interested in the escapism of world-building and exploring these artificial narratives through visual language.

I'm interested in the simultaneous use of organic motifs within these digital spaces as what's natural starts to become simulated through the virtual. And how a physical, historic medium such as oil paint is used to transcribe something digitized and so incredibly contemporary.

The process of creation is an important ritual for me, an outlet for the structure of the mind. I tend to move between the intuitive play of spontaneity in one mode of creation. And then to a very rigid process of design and execution.
